Fox Island Salmon Charters offers a custom on the water fishing instruction charter. We limit this charter to two anglers and is a six hour course. Whether you are new to fishing and are looking to learn the basics or have been away from fishing and are looking for a “tune up”. This charter covers use of dowrnriggers, getting the most out of your sonar unit, and of course we cover the terminal tackle needed to get the job done. We will cover how to fish for Summer King Salmon (Chinook), Winter Blackmouth (resident Chinook) and Silver Salmon techniques. We can tailor this charter to meet your needs.

PORT TOWNSEND FISHING

Winter Blackmouth Salmon

  • Blackmouth Salmon fishing, 8 hours of fishing
  • $600.00 for the boat (1 to 4 people)
  • $9.50 per person one day licenses are available on the boat

LAKE WASHINGTON CUTTHROAT TROUT FISHING

  • December through March
  • $185.00 per person limited to 2 adults and 2 children
  • Five fish daily limit
  • One day license available for $9.50 and can be purchased on our boat
  • Six hour trip leaves one of several boat launches at 8:00am and returns at 2:00pm

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Fox Island Salmon Charters requires a $100.00 deposit for all trips. Port Townsend trips need to be paid in full at the time of booking.

Cancellations made by Fox Island Salmon Charters will result in all of your deposit and/or Port Townsend trips to be reimbursed 100%.

If you must cancel you are required to give a 14 day notice for a full refund. Emergencies are inevitable so we will always reschedule your trip so that you do not lose your deposit.

Last minute cancellations or no-shows lose your deposit no exceptions.
